AF Won't Get More F-22s

AFMC boss, General Carlson got put in his place it appears when he mentioned that the Air Force would get its full compliment of F-22s. Reading the tea leaves if the mindless Barak Obama following succeeds in putting a political novice in the White House, it points to the Air Force not only getting a limited number of F-22s, but the F-35 could be in serious trouble too. And once the F-22 line shuts down, it will only cost more money to reopen it. Don't expect that under a foreign policy challenged Obama administration.

If you look at the Obama campaign plan on foreign policy, it looks like it was written by a second grader. This is what an excerpt from his military philosophy.

New Capabilities: Obama will give our troops new equipment, armor, training, and skills like language training. He will also strengthen our civilian capacity, so that our civilian agencies have the critical skills and equipment they need to integrate their efforts with our military.

That is it and it doesn't sound promising for the F-22.

On the other hand, here is potentially trillions of dollars in new entitlements.

Bottom line: when buying votes, saying you're going to buy F-22s isn't a attractive as saying "free beer"!
