JC Watts for Vice-President

JC Watts needs to be on John McCain's short list for Vice-President.

McCain's running mate needs to be young, good looking, strongly conservative, principled, and a charismatic speaker.

This leads us to a select few, but one stands out in front alone, JC Watts. Did I mention he is African-American? Not that this should come into play, but the hard truth about America today is that it does especially when the Democrats will be putting up a young, good looking, strongly liberal, charismatic African-American.

Watts understands the how badly the Democrats need the US to lose in Iraq.

Such is the case with the Democrat leadership on all matters Iraq. Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking the Democrats have invested a lot in seeing the United States not win in Iraq. So many have invested politically in our non-success that they don't want to hear truth and they ignore evidence. Conversely, Republicans were so politically invested in winning that we ignored Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's failed war policies early on.

JC Watts on John McCain over the war in Iraq.

When confronted with the option of joining the Congressional Black Congress, JC Watts refused for principled reasons. JC Watts' notorious sound bite calls the Jesse Jackson's of the world what they are:

"...they said that I had sold out and Uncle Tom. And I said well, they deserve to have that view. But I have my thoughts. And I think they're race-hustling poverty pimps." (Watts speaking on Hannity and Colmes about his refusal to join the Congressional Black Caucus)

JC Watts' sense of right and wrong is sound. He does have what some may consider a skeleton, (a child born out of wedlock-adopted by an uncle) but they've been fully aired out on the floor of the House of Representatives. Although it may not be known to the average American. But he had the judgment to make the best choice when faced with a difficult choice.

Others have started the JC Watts theory, I'm only jumping on the bandwagon that includes Chron-Watch, among others.
